Little Guilin (Xiao Guilin)
There are many parks in Singapore, but the most scenic park would definitely be the Bukit Batok Town Park, where little Guilin (a quarry) is located.
Like its name, the quarry resembles the granite rock formations in Guilin, China.
Little Guilin is so gorgeous that it looks like it’s out of a Chinese painting.
Due to the beautiful landscape, the park is popular with wedding couples and enthusiastic photographers.
It’s also a popular spot for exercising, as who could resist exercising with a view? 💪

Dairy Farm Quarry
Unlike other quarries in Singapore, there’s no lake to be found at Dairy Farm Quarry.
When mining activities crease at the site, it’s being filled with earth.
You could walk or ride a bike across the “lake”. How cool! 🚴♀️
📍 Dairy Farm Nature Park
Singapore Quarry
Just like the Dairy Farm Quarry, Singapore Quarry is located at the Dairy Farm Nature Park too.
Fishes, turtles, monitor lizards, and even dragonflies of rare species could be found at the quarry. Try to spot them all! 👀
📍 Dairy Farm Nature Park
Hindhede Quarry
Hindhede Quarry is one of the most famous quarries in Singapore.
Not only do people visit for the beautiful sight, many visit with the hopes to spot woodpeckers and brightly coloured birds.
Hindhede Quarry is located in Hindhede Nature Park, where there are easy trails and well-defined footpaths that are suitable for children and the elderly, making it a great destination for family trips. 👨👩👧👧
📍 Along Hindhede Drive
Seng Chew Quarry
Seng Chew Quarry is a hidden quarry located just 2 minutes away from Bukit Gombak MRT station.
Being an uninterrupted piece of nature, there’s no proper pathway to the quarry. Thus, it is less accessible in comparison to other quarries in Singapore.
It will make you feel like you’re on an adventure. 🗺️
Be sure to bring insect repellent and not wear your favourite shoes (unless you don’t mind getting them covered in mud)
Tampines Quarry
Another uninterrupted piece of nature.
It’s a popular spot for bikers and model-aircraft enthusiasts. Expect to see drones flying around the quarry! 🛩️
Be sure to bring insect repellent and not wear your favourite shoes (unless you don’t mind getting them covered in mud)
Pulau Ubin
There’s a total of 6 quarries on that island. Balai Quarry, Kekek Quarry, Ketam Quarry, Pekan Quarry, Petai Quarry and Ubin Quarry.
Out of all, The Merlion Post will suggest that you visit the Pekan Quarry and Ubin Quarry. The scenery is so beautiful that no filter is needed for your pictures! 😍
