The har gao at Sum Dim Sum is tiffany blue in colour, unlike any other places where their Har Gaos are plain white in colour.
The dreamy-coloured har gao would make girls squeal and have them whipping out their phones for pictures. 📸
Not only were they pretty, the Har Gaos’ were healthy as well thanks to the restaurant using natural colouring from Butterfly Peas.

Since they have used natural colouring for the tiffany Blue Har Gao, can you guess what was used for this Char Siew Bao’s colouring?
That’s right, it’s pandan!
Their signature Pandan Char Siew Bao ($6) not only looks good, but it tastes good too. The char siew is succulent, and the char siew sauce isn’t too sweet.
It’s so good that even Char Siew Bao haters would fall in love with it! 👍

I personally like the egg tarts a lot. It has a creamy and smooth filling.
The juicy Xiao Long Bao and crispy prawn rolls are great too, but eating it immediately after being served makes it even better!
