Ever wanted to take pictures like your favorite idols? 🥰
Now, the Rail Corridor would make your dream come true! 😆
Don’t worry if taking pictures is not your cup of tea, as the rail corridor is suitable for relaxation and it’s a great (and free) family outing destination!
Upper Bukit Timah Truss Bridge
Looking for a place where you can take Instagrammable photos? Upper Bukit Timah Truss Bridge is the place to go.
On 22 March, Rail Corridor has finally reopened with a newly restored and refurbished Upper Bukit Timah Truss Bridge!
The newly restored and refurbished truss bridge would allow those on wheels (Bicycle, wheelchair, and prams) to cross with ease! 🚴♂️
You’ll now be able to bring everyone in your family over to the Upper Bukit Timah Truss Bridge for a photoshoot! 📷
Safer and more accessible
Not only so, but there are also 8 new wheelchair-friendly access points, a new underpass for pedestrians, and a strengthened trail, making the Rail Corridor is now more accessible and safer for all!
With the new underpass, pedestrians would no longer have to share a road with motorcyclists and the underpass would provide them with shelter from both the rain and blazing sun. ☔🌞
Visitors would also now be freed from the muddy, water–logged (and disgusting) trail after a rain as the trail has been strenghtened and slopped. Thanks god!
Beautiful Scenery with a rich heritage behind it
Back in the 20th century, the Rail Corridor was formerly a railway line used for commuting and transporting goods from Singapore to Malaysia. 🚆
Now, the Rail Corridor is a place for Singaporeans to enjoy nature and learn about the rich heritage behind it through the landmarks conserved.
There are also wildlife to be spotted and beautiful sceneries to enjoy at the Rail Corridor.😍
Learn about Singapore’s history, relax and have fun at the same time!
